The ULB-VUB Joint Research Groups serve as
- high level academic centers for science & technology cooperation and exchange;
- platforms for research oriented training and mobility;
- pools of knowledge, expertise, and - if applicable - infrastructure & equipment;
- knowledge or technology transfer for creating impact on society, culture, economy, nonprofit sector, governmental bodies, the public at large, ….

Financement :

The two institutions, ULB and VUB, each provide the following supports for the establishment and the functioning of a JRG :
- an amount of 2500 €, at the time of the recognition of the JRG;
- an amount of 800 € per jointly supervised PhD, at the time of the signature of the PhD joint supervision agreement.
