Description courte : 'Research for SMEs' supports innovative SMEs to solve common or complementary technological problems. Projects must be centred on the innovation needs of the SMEs which outsource research to RTD performers and must demonstrate a clear exploitation potential for the SMEs concerned. This call is for researchers in all fields of Science & Technology.
Description complète : Scope: The expected outcome includes new/improved products, processes or services with a distinct market potential: they should demonstrate a clear economic impact for the SME participants, improving their competitiveness by creating new or expanding existing markets. Collaboration and networking at EU level should enhance their access to markets and customers. The topics will be financed under WP Capacities - Research for the benefits of SMEs 2011 The financed project: SME.2011.1. Research for SMEs - BSG - Duration of the project 1-2 years - EU CONTRIBUTION 0,5 to 1,5 mio euros In order tu understand the EU requirements for the projects, the objectives and outcomes, please read carefully the WP Capacities - Research for the benefits of SMEs 2011

Funding schemes : 1 BSG

The evaluation will follow a single stage procedure

Participants:
At least 3 independent SME participants established in 3 different Member States (MS) or Associated Countries (AC)
At least 2 RTD performers independent from any other participant (universities, research organisations and industrial companies, including research performing SMEs)
Financement : Please refer to the funding schemes described in the WP and GUIDE FOR APPLICANTS;

The financed activities: Research and technological development; Demonstration; Training and Dissemination; Management...

Form of grants: reimbursement, in whole or in part, of eligible costs.
