September 13th, Students and early-career professionals of all disciplines are invited to pitch their innovative idea in three minutes, showcasing a breakthrough that creates a positive impact on science and society. WHO Students, entrepreneurs, early-career researchers, & academics of all disciplines WHAT Convince a jury of your idea – in 3 minutes! WHY Join the growing Falling Walls community of emerging innovators & win your spot in the global Falling Walls Lab finale! WHERE DAAD Brussels, Rue d’Arlon 22, 1050 Brussels – Brussels Room Searching for inspiration? Consider watching winning pitches from past years and see what awaits the winners this year!
Critères d’admission/attribution :	WHO CAN APPLY? You must be 18 years or older when submitting your application. You must fulfil at least one of the following formal requirements: - You are currently enrolled in university - You are currently a postdoc - You received a Bachelor’s degree no more than 10 years ago - You received a Master’s degree no more than 7 years ago - You received a PhD no more than 5 years ago * An MD (medical degree excl. a doctoral dissertation) is considered equivalent to a Master’s degree. A Dr. med. (medical degree incl. a doctoral dissertation) is considered equivalent to a PhD.
Financement :	THE PRIZE INTERNATIONAL FALLING WALLS LAB WINNERS selected by international Labs - Win a trip to Berlin, Germany! (travel and accommodation included) - Participate in the global Falling Walls Lab Finale (7 November 2022) in Berlin, where they will compete to become the Breakthrough Winner of the Year in the Emerging Talents category of Falling Walls - Receive a ticket to the prestigious Falling Walls Science Summit (7-9 November 2022), where leaders from science, industry, and policy-making meet and discuss which walls will be the next to fall in science and society - And more...
