Thanks to the patronage of McKinsey & Company, the FNRS will grant in 2024 the annual McKinsey & Company Scientific Award in the Federation Wallonia-Brussels to a researcher who can demonstrate the societal and economic relevance, or the practical applicabilityof his/her doctoral thesis.

Description complète :

The doctoral thesis must pertain to one of the following fields:

• Exact sciences
• Applied sciences
• Social, economic or management sciences
• Biomedical sciences.

Critères d’admission/attribution :

Eligibility criteria:

• The thesis must have been publicly defended in 2023 (from January 1st to December 31st) in a university of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels or the Royal Military Academy.

• Candidates must be affiliated to a recognized university (within or outside the Federation Wallonia-Brussels) at the date of the Award submission deadline.

• McKinsey & Company staff are not eligible to the Award.

• The thesis may not have been previously rewarded, except by an honorary Award.

Financement :

The Award amounts to 5.000 €.
