Description courte : The “Albert Einstein” World Award of Science was created as a means of recognition and encouragement for scientific and technological research and development. It takes into special consideration research which has brought true benefit and wellbeing to mankind.
Description complète : The World Cultural Council is now accepting nominations for the Science prize for 2016. Nominees for the Albert Einstein World Award of Science should be eminent scientists whose achievements can serve as an inspiration for future generations. Considerations will be given to individuals or institutions in one of the Life Sciences such as Neuroscience, Earth Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Paleoanthropology or Chemistry or in one of the Natural Sciences such as Physics, Mathematics or Astronomy.
Critères d’admission/attribution : Candidates for the awards may be selected and proposed only through the following authorities in any country:
•The President, the Prime Minister.
•Ministers of Science and Technology or Culture and Education.
•Directors of Institutes and Organizations.
•Rectors of Universities.
•Members of the World Cultural Council.
•Outstanding personalities in Science and Culture.

The winner of the award is elected by the Interdisciplinary Committee, which is composed of world renowned scientists, among them 25 Nobel laureates.

Self nominations are not accepted. Renomination of previous nominees is possible and encouraged.
Financement : The award consists of a Diploma, a Commemorative medal and US$10,000
Pour postuler / aide du Département Recherche : 1. Nomination Letter.
2. Candidate´s curriculum vitae.
3. A one or two pages resume with the grounds for nominating the candidate and describing his/her best achievements.
4. A list of all his/her publications (articles, books) with titles translated into English.
