Grants are open to all academic fileds of study, but must relate to US - EU relations or EU affairs.
Description complète :	Types of grants available: grants for ◾Pre-Doctoral Research ◾Post-Doctoral Research and lecturing ◾International Educator ◾Innovation award Awards are available to EU citizens wishing to study, conduct research, or lecture in the US on the EU, EU policies, or the US-EU transatlantic agenda for a period between three and 9 months. Grants are open to all academic fileds of study, but must relate to US - EU relations or EU affairs. Projects that do not meet this requirement should be submitted through the Fulbright Program in the applicant’s country of citizenship. Prior to submitting their application, candidates must arrange their own placement at an accredited university, vocational training/professional institution, or independent research center in the United States. Candidates may propose to stay at more than one institution during their grant, although they should provide a clear plan and justification for doing so.
Critères d’admission/attribution :	◾Citizenship in an EU Member state ◾Proficiency in English ◾minumum of a bachelor's degree (for students) ◾Completed PhD (for scholars) or other terminal degree and 5+ year of experience ◾Academic or porfessionnal experience of 3+ months in two or more EU Member state ◾be good representatives of their own country while they are in the United States
Financement :	◾A monthly stipend of the dollar equivalent of € 3,000 for scholars and a monthly stipend of the dollar equivalent of € 2,000 for students. ◾An allowance of € 2,000 for travel costs ◾J-1 visa sponsorship ◾Sickness and accident insurance The maximum grant to any one candidate is set at € 29,000. No candidate may receive Fulbright Schuman funding in concurrence with other EC funding (i.e. Marie Curie) for the same activity
Pour postuler / aide du Département Recherche :	Deadline: December 1 (noon Brussels time). For those who advance to the final round a mandatory Skype interview is required. Applicants will be notified in late February.
