Description courte : ERC Advanced Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are already established research leaders with a recognised track record of research achievements.

The call ERC-2024-ADG is open with a deadline on 29 August 2024
Description complète : Applicant Principal Investigators must demonstrate the ground-breaking nature, ambition and feasibility of their scientific proposal.

ERC Advanced Grant Principal Investigators are expected to be active researchers and to have a track record of significant research achievements in the last 10 years which must be presented in the application.

All scientific fields are eligible for ERC funding.

ERC dashboard quick start guide
Comme vous le savez, l’ERC dashboard est une plateforme d’obtention de données sur les projets ERC qui a été mise en place par l’ERCEA l’été dernier. Les données non confidentielles sur les propositions peuvent également être consultées (par exemple : pour l’instrument SyG, il y a eu 23 propositions belges évaluées par l’ERC depuis le démarrage d’Horizon Europe). Un document de guidance « quick start guide » est disponible depuis peu.
 
 
Critères d’admission/attribution : Researchers of any nationality who intend to conduct their research activity in any EU Member State or Associated Country.

rincipal Investigators may be of any age.
Financement : Advanced Grants may be awarded up to a maximum of EUR 2 500 000 for a period of 5 years.

Via the Incentives, ULB also gives subsidies : (please see the attachment)
- Coverage of buy outs at a maximum of 60 hours per year
- Granting of a bridge contract
- Granting of an envelope of 50.000 - 60.000 €

Via the FNRS, you can also receive a flat rate of 2.000 € if you succeed the 1st step.
