Commodification of Human Body Parts and International Inequalities. Sale of body parts (hair, womb, kidney and know how), trafic in body parts.


Abstract : The thesis will treat of a new phenomenon permitted by todays globalization and its features, especially the neoliberal market oriented economy. We are living in a world where the laters allow some people to benefit of the body parts of others, especially those of global South. This reality entails ethical, feminist, law, inequality, etc... issues. The proposal should highlight the complexities of the phenomenon and adopt an inter-sectional approach. It should illustrate its objectives by field work and case studies.Each of the below suggestions i.e hair, womb, kidney, know how (brain) can be treated seperatly.
