Call for Proposals - Euronanomed “European Innovative Research and Technological Development Projects in Nanomedicine”

Description : EuroNanoMed (ENM) is an ERA-NET on Nanomedicine established since 2008 as a platform for funding agencies and ministries to coordinate research and innovation programmes with the goal of creating and funding collaborative research and innovation projects that can convert research in nanotechnology into practical gains in medicine.

Financement : The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 200,000 EUR for a total period of three years. Eligible costs items Personnel costs: 50,000€ EUR per year on average for the duration of the project. The usual duration of ERA-NET research programmes is three years. However, when the project involves a PhD student, the principal investigator can apply for an additional one year funding in order to complete the four years PhD programme. This request should be submitted to FNRS six months before the end of the project, together with the written agreement from the "Comité d'accompagnement”. This final year should not be included in the budget submitted to this call. Equipment:can be eligible up to 20% of the total budget of the project Running costs: travel expenses; organisation of small scientific events in Belgium; consumables and the following support costs: consumables Publication Designing (conception d’ouvrage) Dictionary Production (réalisation de dictionnaire) Purchase of Books Encoding Software Access Rights Congress Registration Fees Purchase of Computer Scanning Travel costs Visa costs Open Access publication of an article up until 500 euros (see F.R.S.-FNRS Open Access policy) “Overhead” is not an eligible cost. If the project is selected for funding, these costs will be subject to a separate agreement between the institution of the beneficiary and the F.R.S.-FNRS.

Introduction de la demande: Consortium application There will be a two-steps submission and evaluation procedure for joint applications: preproposals and full proposals. In both cases, one joint proposal document (in English) shall be prepared by the partners of a joint transnational proposal, and must be submitted to the JCS by uploading it on the electronic submission system (https://secure.ptdlr.de/ptoutline/app/euronanomed2018) by one spokesperson, the coordinator. Administrative application Additionnaly to the joint proposal, applicants must provide basic administrative data by submitting an administrative application on Semaphoresame deadline as the consortium application is submitted. Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application. Proposals invited to the second stage will be able to complete the pre-proposal form and provide information for the full proposal upon validation by the F.R.S.-FNRS Your contact person at the ULB-TTO is at your disposal to help you in the preparation of the proposals and in particular (but not exclusively) in the following steps: - Verification of compliance with the eligibility criteria, - Examination of the proposal for the administrative sections, - Advices on impact and valuation sections, - Budget, - Contact with the Secretariats and National Contact Point
